Northern Tech Award win for ContractHireAndLeasing.com

ContractHireAndLeasing.com – the UK’s number one vehicle leasing website – has been acknowledged for its technological achievements in the 2015 Northern Tech Awards.

The awards celebrate innovative technologies and businesses developed in the North of England and recognise those who have contributed to their success.

"The Northern Tech Awards are a celebration of the boundless energy and global ambitions of tech entrepreneurs in the North"

Really Good Domains, the Cheshire-based business which owns and operates ContractHireAndLeasing.com, was named as one of the awards’ Rising Stars, a category that acknowledges companies which are tipped to grow at a rapid rate in the next financial year.

The winners of the Northern Tech Awards were decided by a judging panel which included former Tesco CEO Sir Terry Leahy, and senior figures within successful businesses such as LateRooms, Innocent Drinks, Google Ventures and Wired magazine.

Ground-breaking innovation

David Timmis, Managing Director of Really Good Domains, the Cheshire-based business which owns and operates ContractHireAndLeasing.com, attended a ceremony at the Aspire Building in Leeds on Thursday 26 March to collect the Rising Star award.

He commented: “Lots of hard work and investment has gone into keeping CHAL ahead of the game and protecting its status as the UK’s most popular car leasing website and this award serves as recognition of that.

“Well done to everyone that has helped to shape CHAL into the market-leading and rapidly expanding growing website.”

Hugh Campbell, Managing Partner of GP Bullhound which co-organises and presented the awards, said the standard of entries had been the highest since they were originally set up in 2011.

He added: “The Northern Tech Awards are a celebration of the boundless energy and global ambitions of tech entrepreneurs in the North.

“We were blown away by the talent and ground-breaking innovation of the companies who won each category.”
