Supermarket giant Tesco has a new petrol voucher promotion, where customers can claim up to 50p per litre off their petrol or diesel fill ups. One of the most generous petrol promotions yet seen, Tesco says their customers can fill up their tank with fuel prices not seen since 2008.

The scheme began yesterday and works via a series of 10p a litre off vouchers on specific products and deals, with up to five vouchers redeemable in any one transaction at a Tesco petrol station.

The offer applies to customers buying:

  • Two selected Robinsons juice concentrate drinks
  • Fairy Non-Bio washing powder
  • Four selected Heinz products, including baked beans and tomato ketchup.
  • Nescafe Original or Gold Blend coffee
  • Two selected Andrex toilet rolls

Speaking about the petrol promotion David Wood, Tesco’s UK Marketing Director, said:

“Most significantly, up to five 10ppl vouchers can be used at the same time at our petrol filling stations. This means Tesco customers who take full advantage of this promotion will save 50p on every litre of fuel they buy on our forecourts and they will enjoy the lowest fuel prices by far anywhere in the UK.

“I am delighted that we can offer unbeatable value so that customers are making savings when they fill up their trolley and when they fill up their tank.”

You will have to be quick though, as the offer is expected to end on 1st August.
