New service plans rolled out by Alfa Romeo
Written By Richard Lawton Published On: Nov 27 2009 A complete range of comprehensive service plans for Alfa Romeo – which include all parts and labour costs associated with vehicle servicing, while allowing customers to spread the servicing charges – has been launched by Fiat Group Automobiles UK.Alfa Romeo Service Plans are designed to present an easy way for owners to budget for their car servicing requirements by removing the need to pay for work in one go. Instead it allows for the cost to be spread out over a fixed term in monthly, interest-free payments.Plans are based on the customer's anticipated annual mileage and the number of services required, cost of the plans are flexible. Once Alfa Romeo has this information, a monthly cost can be supplied. Currently, a customer with a diesel Alfa MiTo with air conditioning could buy a three year, 31,500-mile plan for under £15 a month.
All Alfa models are eligible for the Plan which provides an official service from Alfa-trained technicians in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, using original Alfa parts. This allows the car’s service book to be officially stamped. As well as standard service intervals, Value Service Plans are available for low mileage users and for cars outside of manufacturer warranty.Customers signing up to a Plan can also expect a courtesy car or local collection/delivery, free wash and vacuum, while all Alfa Romeo accessories are available with a 10% discount.“This is an excellent way to look after your Alfa the way you want it looked after, and without having to find the full cost of the service each time you book it in,” says Rob Calver, parts and services director, Fiat Group Automobiles UK.“The simple monthly payments make the scheme easier to budget for, providing peace of mind to our customers in a very convenient way. Additionally, a car with a fully stamped service history commands a higher price at the time of resale.”
