MINI Clubman: refreshed and ready to go
Written By Faye Sunderland Published On: Aug 20 2010This August the entire MINI range benefits from a refresh, and as the new registration plate season fasts approaches there can be no better time to check out what BMW’s small car brand has to offer.
The entire range gets a design update, inside and out and, at the same time, the carmaker introduces two brand new diesel engines with CO2 emissions of 99 grams/km while the MINI Convertible is offered with a diesel engine for the first time.
While this makes the convertible more fuel efficient, if you are looking for something truly practical, then the Clubman model is worth checking out. One of the best for flexibility of use, the Clubman model, combines small car dimensions with a practical loading space thanks to its double-door opening at the rear. Just 8cm longer than the hatch model, the Clubman nonetheless feels like a big car on a small scale; ideal for those that need some boot space but still like to feel they can park in the city with ease.
If a Clubman appeals to you this August, then check out the deals from Barons BMW, which has two MINI Clubman models to choose from; the MINI One Graphite Clubman with Pepper Pack and the MINI Cooper D Graphite Clubman with Chilli Pack. The MINI One is available for just £215 per month, based on a 3+35, 10,000 miles per annum contract while the Cooper D is available for £237 per month, based on a 3+35, 10,000 miles per annum contract (both deals available to business users only, personal leasing rates available on request).
