ContractHireAndLeasing.com reveals most popular car leasing searches

Market leading, car and van leasing website, ContractHireAndLeasing.com announces its most popular car searches today.

Audi cars had a run-away success reports the website, occupying five out of the ten, top searches for cars on ContractHireAndLeasing.com in the previous 30 days. The A3 was the second most popular search, with the A3 Sportback, A4 Saloon, A5 and A6 Saloon also in the top ten.

Other winners included, Mercedes who took the number three position with their C-Class saloon and the number eight position with their CLC Sports Coupe. BMW also performed strongly with five models in the top 20. The 1 Series was their most popular model in 11th place, followed by the 5 Series saloon, 3 Series coupe, 3 Series saloon, and the X5 all with top 20 positions.

Best of all for Volkswagen, the Golf is the number one, most popular search and yet Volkswagen failed to make any other impact on the top 20.

While the leasing sector in the US has suffered lately, ContractHireAndLeasing.com tells quite a different story in the UK. With half million users, 2 million page views and 1.3 million searches made each month, ContractHireAndLeasing.com reports that there is a growing interest in car contract hire. ContractHireAndLeasing.com is widely recognised as the indicator of the overall leasing sector due to the sheer volume of users on the website. The team at Really Good Domains who run the website believe it offers a true reflection of the most popularly leased cars in the UK.

“There is no doubt that the leasing sector within the UK is alive and performing well”, says Really Good Domains’ Marketing Manager, Richard Lawton. “This is because at a time of economic downturn, car leasing offers many advantages; not least the opportunity to fix the cost of motoring, reduce fuel consumption and secure maintenance costs.”

“The leasing sector has proven particularly favourable for Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes and BMW”, concludes Lawton.
