The Vauxhall Corsa remains one of the biggest selling models available in the UK today, however it seems Scotland has gone Vauxhall Corsa crazy after the model again featured at the top of the new car registration tables for June 2009.
June 2009 saw 2,110 new Corsa’s on Scottish roads, with a total of 7,613 bought so far in 2009; equating to almost 9% of the total market! There can be no doubt that the perky supermini is the nation’s favourite.

The Vauxhall Corsa also recently came top of a poll on the popular website RoadTestReports.co.uk, with 35 per cent of the vote. A total of 487 people responded to the survey, with the practical Honda Jazz coming in second place with 19 per cent of the vote, while the Ford Fiesta, took third place with a respectable 13 per cent.
Vauxhall’s triumph cannot come as too much of a surprise, as their success with the website’s visitors is mirrored by their success in the showrooms, the Corsa was the top selling supermini in the UK, with 99,574 new registrations through 2008 according to the statistics from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
