In a departure from the usual sponsorship opportunities, makers of the Impreza Subaru is to sponsor the Georgian market at the forthcoming Lichfield festival, to be held on Saturday 11th July.
The free event is a popular day out for many, with this year’s festival promising over 150 stalls and all day entertainment and visitors will have the chance to win a Subaru World Rally Team adult mountain bike as part of a prize draw competition in the official programme (costs £2.50).

Commenting on the sponsorship Kenyon Neads, Marketing Director at Subaru (UK). said: “We very much look forward to working in partnership with the Lichfield Festival. Subaru’s range of all-wheel drive vehicles has a great standing in the family market, with a reputation for reliable and durable vehicles.”
He added: “This sponsorship is a new development for us and fits in well with our strategy of widening our brand appeal in less traditional areas of marketing to reach our audience.”
Three Subaru vehicles will be on duty on the day, ferrying performing artists and equipment to and from the festival – Subaru’s Outback and Forester models have been earmarked for the job.
