The ultimate luxury and super car show, the Salon Privé is on course to be the biggest yet, with ticket demand higher than ever, driven by eight super and luxury car debuts and an extensive Concours d’ Elegance.
Said the event’s co-founder, David Bagley: “Despite the wider economic climate, we’ve seen a marked rise in exhibitor enquiries and ticket demand for this year’s event. We’re confident that this year’s Salon Privé will be the best yet.”
In one month’s time, the gardens of London’s exclusive Hurlingham Club will be transformed, with Europe’s largest single display of luxury cars, supercars and some of the rarest cars classic cars creating a motoring and social occasion unlike any other.
Highlights confirmed to date include, world premiere of Vermot Veritas RSIII production car, UK public debut of Rolls-Royce 200EX and the UK debut of Aston Martin One-77 supercar.
Headlining the luxury car attractions is the Rolls-Royce 200EX, the latest in the grand tradition of Rolls-Royce ‘Experimental Vehicles’. Smaller and more dynamic in its exterior design, while remaining every inch a Rolls-Royce, 200EX makes its UK public debut at Salon Privé just weeks after the company confirmed it will be the basis for the all-new Rolls-Royce Ghost.
Salon Privé will also host several new production and concept supercars around its Super Car Lawns, including the UK debut of Aston Martin’s One-77, plus a world premiere of the production version of the Vermot Veritas RSIII supercar.
Alongside these will be the new Lotus Evora, Morgan Aero Supersports and Maserati GranTurismo S Auto and Quattroporte GTS, plus the SPR1 – a £600,000 supercar, specially-developed by Switzerland-based Sportec.
Aston Martin will also show the new V12 Vantage and DBS Volante, while Maybach has chosen Salon Privé to unveil its stunning new Zeppelin limousine, inspired by the models of the 1930s.
Other exclusive manufacturers in attendance include McLaren, Pagani, Brabham, Caparo, KTM, Aspid, Invicta and Tesla, which will show its revolutionary battery-electric roadster.
Historic Concours d’ Elegance
Now in its fourth year, Salon Privé has also attracted some of the world’s finest and rarest classic cars, creating what is now one of Europe’s finest Concours d’ Elegance.
The entry list this year includes one of only two Profilee-bodied Type 46 Bugattis, an Hispano-Suiza H6B Coupe de Ville, Ferrari 275 GTB/4 NART Spyder and an historic collection of post-war Aston Martins, including a DBR1.
This year’s Concours will be judged by a panel of experts and enthusiasts, led by five-time Le Mans winner, Derek Bell MBE.
Best Value Hospitality in Town
With all-inclusive hospitality tickets from £125.00 per person, Salon Privé also provides a luxury experience on a par with the other big events of the social calendar, but for up to a third of the cost of some other events.
