Skoda has extended its pan-European appeal with it’s popular Superb model, which has now received nearly 30 prestigious awards across the continent since its official premiere at the 78th Geneva Motor Show one year ago.
Superb is the Car of the Year 2009 in the Czech Republic while other awards have come from Slovakia, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Ukraine. The Superb was also shortlisted and awarded fifth place in the prestigious European Car of the Year Awards.
Škoda has sold over 20,000 new Superbs across Europe. Its most recent accolade is ‘Winter Car of the Year 2009’ by the expert jury of the Finland magazine Tekniikan Maailma.
