
Luxury carmaker Lexus has announced the next generation Lexus Hybrid Drive gives the new RX 450h reduced CO2 emissions, making it one of the most economical SUV’s available in the UK.
The new RX 450h, due on sale in the UK from the summer, improves on the fuel economy of the RX 400h seeing an improvement of 28 per cent to 44.8 mpg.
The SUV is powered by the two electric motors, and an efficient 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine to provide intelligent four-wheel drive capability. The Toyota owned Lexus will hit a respectable 124mph top speed and 0-62mph is achieved in 7.8 seconds.

The Lexus RX 450h is set for its European unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show, and is the latest in a long line of exclusives for the forthcoming event.
