Piaggio Commercial Vehicles will be exhibiting at the Post-Expo show to be held at ExCel in London, an international show held for the postal, parcel and courier industry. Piaggio Commercial Vehicles will form part of the Piaggio Group stand and will be displaying a zero emission Piaggio Porter electric van.
Piaggio offer some fantastic, reliable and cheap-to-run solutions for businesses. Their electric van is not only exempt from VED and the congestion charge but offers dependable, long life Lead-Gel batteries which are maintenance-free and produce zero emissions. All Porter electric vehicles have a range of approximately 80 miles, with recharging being a very simple process. There two options available; either a standard 8 hour charge through a 13 amp socket or a faster 2 hour charge using 3 phase supply.
Currently the Porter electric range is available in 6 different body types; Panel Van, MPV, Pick Up, Big Deck, Tipper and Chassis Cab. Across the range, payload capacities range from 440kg for the electric MPV to 560kg for the electric Big Deck, with the electric van capable of 470kg.
Piaggio Commercial Vehicles will be at stand 1650 of the Post-Expo 2008 between 30th September and 2nd October.
