The long-anticipated Volt will not be the only debut Chevrolet will make for the 2008 Paris Motor Show.
The annual motor show takes place between the 4-19 October and while the leading manufacturers fall over themselves to make sure they make their presence is felt, Chevrolet look like they have got plenty to tantalise the thousands of motor fans set to descend on Paris.
The production-ready version of the Volt E-REV is sure to attract a lot of attention, an electric four-seat saloon car, Chevrolet are marketing it as an electric car with and ‘extended range’ (or petrol engine to you and me).
On sale next spring, the Chevrolet’s four-door coupe, Cruze looks smart and almost upmarket, although you’ll have to attend the motor show to see if Chevrolet don’t let themselves down on the details.
Paris will play host to Chevrolet’s dip into the dangerously competitive market of the seven-seat MPV with the Orlando model. Although only a concept at the moment Chevrolet say they aim to have a production model ready by 2009.
And finally the return of an old gem, a remake of the original 1967 Camaro, Chevrolet promise this is every inch the modern performance despite its design sticking close to the original.
