Swedish maker Saab has announced the launch of a new Special Edition 9-5 model.
The 9-5 Turbo Edition comes with a choice of three engines – the entry-level 2.0t, the high power 2.3t and the economical 1.9 TiD diesel.
Standard features include 17 inch, five spoke alloy wheels, leather sport seats, heated both front and rear, electric driver’s seat, and headlight washers.
Available in both Saloon and Estate bodystyles, and with manual or automatic transmission, prices for the 9-5 Turbo Edition start at just £19,995.
If you have a need for speed you’ll want the 2.3T (around 260bhp) engine – which goes from zero to 60mph in just 6.5 seconds in the Saloon variant with a top speed of 155mph
The new 9-5 Turbo Editions also retain all the safety features of the Saab 9-5 including a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating, Saab Active Head Restraints (SAHR), dual-stage front and side airbags, Electronic Stability Programme and reinforced doors.
David Pugh, Marketing General Manager for Saab said: “The Saab 9-5 has long been a car synonymous with comfort, safety and performance. This experience and reputation combined with these exciting new features makes this car an attractive proposition for premium car buyers.”
