The organisers of The British International Motor Show have announced that the headline sponsor of this year’s event is Zurich Connect.
Zurich’s pan-European direct insurance brand which is preparing to expand into the UK later this year feels that this will be the ideal way to get people talking about the company.
Mike Quinton, Managing Director for Zurich’s Direct & Partnerships business in the UK, said, “Zurich Connect offers car and home insurance with a high level of customer service in a fresh, straightforward manner.”
Quinton continued: “Zurich wants Zurich Connect to become a major automotive insurance provider, not only in the UK but across Europe, and its involvement with the Show will go a long way in helping to achieve this goal.  The scale and status of the exhibition provides a unique platform, enabling communication with a huge number of potential Zurich Connect customers, both through pre-Show activity and via a significant presence at the Show in July.”
The Show opens to the public on 23 July at ExCeL London, will feature 600 vehicles from 60 manufacturers, and Zurich Connect will have a significant presence as headline sponsor.
