CAP HAS APPOINTED Stuart Empson to drive implementation of CAP Quote, an innovative ‘quotation to order’ application delivering improved customer experience and internal efficiency for contract hire and leasing operators.
Stuart’s new role of CAP Quote Operational Implementation Manager is key to CAP’s drive to provide the most innovative business solutions across the UK automotive sector.
Stuart will be responsible for partnering with customers at every stage of CAP Quote implementation and maintaining close liaison to ensure they achieve the maximum benefit from a tool which CAP believes will transform the quotation to order process, from the front-end customer interface to internal back office management.
Stuart Empson is no stranger to CAP, joining the CAP Quote team with a wealth of experience gained in his previous role as Senior Analyst. He first joined the business in 2004 and in that role he was instrumental in developing more sophisticated and robust analytical processes to enhance the integrity of CAP’s current and forecast vehicle values data. This saw Stuart working closely with customers across all of CAP’s market sectors to help ensure clarity and transparency around the business’s benchmark valuation data and its research methodology.
In his role as Operational Implementation Manager, Stuart will ensure that customers enjoy maximum benefit from a system which will improve efficiency, dramatically reduce vehicle ordering errors and enhance the end user experience. He will also be instrumental in driving further product development, based on CAP Quote customer needs, to create future generations of the application.
CAP Quote is the result of collaboration between CAP and automotive industry software specialist Bynx. It is a unique web-based system designed to completely automate the vehicle quotation to order process for contract hire and leasing operators. It is unique in driving customer loyalty by enhancing the front-end quotation experience and providing powerful back office functionality in a single web-based application, removing the need for prohibitively expensive and disruptive IT infrastructure alterations.
It uniquely incorporates every front end quotation requirement into a single easy-to-access system, meeting all the needs of the host business and its user chooser customers and is easily installed and configured.
The system also eliminates the possibility of vehicle configuration errors, one of the most common issues creating the need for service staff intervention. This is due to incorporation of CAP’s unique option relationships format within its New Vehicle Data set, preventing the selection of incompatible features. Such selection errors are a major contributor to the typical industry requirement of staff intervention in around one in five initial customer orders.

All Customer specific terms are simply and quickly applied to CAPQuote. This means that the Contract Hire company’s New Customer contracts can go live immediately with quotations that fully reflect the customer’s bespoke agreements.
