SMMT and the RMIF’s NFDA division are both forecasting a drop in sales when compared to March 2007. SMMT expect a 5.4% drop, the NFDA division of RMIF believe the dip will be slightly less at 1.6%.
March will also be a very busy month in the contract hire and leasing sector with drivers looking to lease new cars with the new 08 plate.
