Excellent residuals offered from Citroen Nemo and Berlingo
Written By Faye Sunderland Published On: Jun 12 2008 Industry experts, CAP, predict that the recently launched Citroën Nemo and Berlingo vans will be established as residual value leaders in their respective classes. The Nemo and new Berlingo are designed to provide businesses with efficient, low cost operation and high levels of crew comfort and safety. They also offer great flexibility of use.According to CAP who produced fully independent price guide residual value figures, the new Nemo van is expected to have a residual value in excess of 32% after a typical three year, 60,000 mile life.
Similarly, new Berlingo, over a typical three year, 60,000 mile life, is predicted to retain more than 33% of its initial cost. The new Berlingo’s residual value performance is also better than that of the original Berlingo, which is already one of the best used van performers in its sector.Robert Handyside, Citroën’s commercial vehicle operations manager, remarks,“These strong independent residual value predictions by CAP are confirmation that Citroën’s innovative new Nemo and Berlingo will appeal strongly to both first and second owners. The excellent projected residual values of these two models will play a major part in the delivery of the low whole life costs that all van operators require.”
