The fact is that the Nissan Cube is one of the strangest looking cars we’ve seen in quite some time, now the Japanese carmaker is launching a new website to build up anticipation levels of the car’s official UK launch in January 2010.However, there’s a catch. To gain access to the “virtual club” at cubelist.co.uk a visitor needs to qualify for access by proving they can appreciate the quirkiness of the Cube.In a further indication of the power of the internet, the website has been designed to give an eye-popping online experience, including a 24/7 live feed of a Cube driving around Tokyo – and naturally the home of the strange vehicle.Crucially, CubeList members will also get the chance to test drive and customise the first Cube models to arrive in the UK ahead of everyone else. There will also be information on all international and UK Cube-related events as well as an Exploration Module to allow members to get to know every detail of the Cube’s character.This car is certainly not for the shy and retiring.
